Hannah Haldeman is currently in the hospital fighting necrotizing fasciitis, a rare and aggressive bacterial infection that can be fatal. What started as a small area of irritation on her hand quickly spread deep into the tissue up her arm. The doctors had to rush her into surgery to remove the infected areas and stop the bacteria from spreading further. She’s now undergone multiple surgeries and has a long and painful road ahead to recovery.

As a barber and business owner of the Cary Barbershop, it has been extremely difficult for her, especially because she uses her hands so much for work. Hannah is a daughter, sister, aunt, and friend who means so much to many people. She has given back through mission trips to Zambia, El Salvador, and the Dominican Republic, and by volunteering to provide haircuts for the homeless in her community. Hannah has always helped those around her, and now she is the one who needs our support.

The medical bills are already overwhelming, and with her not being able to work, the financial struggle is not something she needs to focus on. Every dollar raised will go directly toward her emergency surgeries, hospital expenses, wound care, medications, physical therapy, and living expenses while she recovers until she can get back to work.
